Regal G. Revel Tiny Wall Clocks

tiny wall clocks

This clock is so tiny, that the picture above is just about life sizes. The Regal G Revel wall clocks measure just 4″ X 11″ in length, with most of that length accounted for by the little swinging pendulum which hangs down below the face.

The piece itself is hand assembled from antiqued brass with a curved glass case that protects the delicate face of the piece. The surface of the face has also been given an antique finish thats adds a touch of dignified age to the nature of the clock.

Modern Decorative Tube Pendulum Clocks

This is an interesting timepiece that features a very small clock face, with a 20 inch swinging pendulum which makes a 3″ arc within a stylish acrylic tube.

The sleek modern materials, mesh with the unusual design, to give this timepiece a truly modern sensibility.

I personally think this wall clock is a bit impractical, however I could see some spaces where such a kinetic piece might fit in well. Its height would tend to draw the eye upward making rooms seem taller, while its thin dimension allows it to fit seamlessly into a space, with a minimalist sensibility.

Galileo’s Bicycle - Intricate Wooden Wall Clocks

wooden wall clocks

This clock is so intricate it is almost impossible to conceive of it. It kind of makes me proud to be part of a race which has a member with a mind so beautiful, that it could scale the abstract complexities of a timepiece such as this.

I suggest that you take a look at the video below in order to really see what this clock is made of, because only in the kinesthetics, not in this simple still life, can you see the true life, the personality which bursts forth from its form.

The clock is featured on LisaBoyer.com, but you can’t buy it from there, or from anywhere. Instead, you have to purchase the clock plans and go to the trouble, effort, exertion, of building it yourself.

In this way, if you ever see one of these clocks in someones home or office, you will know that it reflects more than just their pocketbook, it reflects hours of toil, and skill, that were either achieved, or given in friendship and honor.

Etched Steel Cowboy Wall Clocks

I found this wall clock on Wild West Living, while surfing the web and I thought it was pretty interesting. The website says that it is crafted from precision laser cut steal, which appears to be set against a hardwood backdrop.

The result of this process is that the cowboy silhouette seams to pop out of the surface of the clock, creating an illusion of depth that gives the piece life and vibrancy. The perfect addition to your western style decor.

Ghost Riders Western Style Wall Clocks

This intricate wall clock is laser cut into 14 gauge steel, which is then finished in a copper Patina. Surrounding the rim of this indoor / outdoor, ready piece are the ghostly figures of the mournful shadow cowboys, whose haunting howls can be heard across the deserted plains.

This clock is suitable for use either indoors or outdoors, and features a minute and second hand, as well as a thermometer.

The rustic finish on the steel, mixed with the silhouetted design of the cowboy figures, serves to create a quietly powerful presence, that will add a true touch of wild west spirit to any space you choose.

Hermle Modern Wooden Wall Clocks

One of the features that are often found in pieces designated “Modern” or “Contemporary” is that they delight in the free mixing and matching of even diametrically opposed materials. This clock is a good example of that.

Here you can see that a traditional hardwood back, pasted in a light golden stain, has been set as the backdrop against a sleek stainless steel dial, which is raised above the surface by a few inches, to give the piece an even greater edge.

The contemporary style has been enhanced by the use of accessory pieces such as the 4 midnight clcips that cup the steel of the clocks face in their hands, at the 4 compass points of the piece.

Chicken Creek Poultry Country Style Clock

country style clocks

This is a wall clock that epitomizes the essence of country style decorating. The distressed wood backing is matched by the rich fade of paint, which has mirthfully rendered the rooster, common animal symbol of southern country life. The combination of these factors lends an air of refreshing country peace which gives the clock a laid back and rustic beauty.

Old West Railroad Wall Clocks

western wall clocks

This clever clock is a throwback to the rough and wild days of the old west. Crafted in “Railroad Station” style, this clock has a distressed face that makes it look like it has weathered a thousands days in the dessert sun.

The words “Dodge City” are printed across the front, to complete the western feel that is evoked by this piece.

If you want to add a little bit of cowboy style decor to your home, this clock is a rather unique piece, which will stand out and catch attention wherever it is hung.

This clock was found on Ebay, and is sized at 17″ X 17″ X 2″ Diameter

Vintage Airplane Wall Clocks

This wall clock makes me think of a simpler, purer time. A time before video games, internet, and the all encompassing dominance of visual media. It was a quieter time, a time of peace, when you actually had a chance to sit back and enjoy the feel of a cool breeze, and the spirit of life being lived all around you.

I could see this piece being part of a decorative philosophy that tries to encourage the simple beauty in life, rather than opting for flashy sleek nonsense, that really isn’t much use to anyone.

This clock is also a way to instill a little bit of good old American purity into your child’s room.
